Job Summary

Opportunity to use exceptional skills and knowledge to support overall business goals while mentoring and developing other technicians. Will work closely with the management team to provide insights on shop operations.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic issues.
  • Work with management to assign proper technicians to tasks.
  • Participate in and complete manufacturing training to obtain certifications.
  • Ensure staff works safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Provide input on technician development.
  • Perform repairs as needed.
  • Mentor technicians to enhance their development.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Ability to work on trucks, including climbing, crawling, and making repairs.
  • Commitment to safety and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Ability to teach and guide less experienced technicians.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Proficiency with PC to update work orders and explain maintenance and repairs.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills regarding work order status.
  • Ability to communicate concerns to management.
  • Dependability.
Minimum Requirements
  • Strong mechanical and electrical experience.
  • Refrigeration unit experience is a plus.
  • CDL B license or willingness to obtain within 120 days.
  • State Inspection License is a plus.
  • ASE Certifications are preferred, with the goal of full certification.
