Job description

Reyes Fleet Management is looking to hire a Lead Diesel Mechanic / Lead Fleet Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on our tractor and trailer equipment at our new Martin Brower shop in Philadelphia, PA. This position will be based out of Coatesville until the shop opens in Q4 2025.

Shift: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay: $42.00-$46.00/HR based on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers by adhering to safety guidelines, providing guidance and training for hourly mechanics to ensure all repairs are completed on time, and communicating with the operations team.
• Manage parts room operations and inventory requirements, handle road calls, and assist customers with roadside services.
• Plan schedules and assign maintenance work/activities in the maintenance shop, and develop opportunities for waste reduction, downtime analysis, and process improvements.
• Oversee daily PM maintenance for the fleet, including engine repairs and scheduling outsourced third-party repairs, along with other technician duties.
• Assist the Fleet Shop Manager in ensuring all documentation is complete, including tracking warranty claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree and 4+ years of related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds; occasionally lift, push, and/or pull weights over 100 pounds.
• Own tools with minimum tool requirements.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Technical School Certification.
