Qualifications

• A-level diagnostic experience in a dealership or a serious independent shop.
• Comfort with the manufacturer’s diagnostic information and scan equipment.
• High-voltage experience is important due to hybrid and plug-in hybrid Mazda models.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics on drivability, electrical and network faults, including intermittents that require a method over guesswork.
• Handle hybrid and plug-in hybrid systems and the repairs that flow from them.
• Be the point person other technicians ask questions of, acting as a mentor on the shop floor.
