Job summary

Capital One’s Retail Design team is seeking a creative interior architectural designer to lead design management of special projects for cafes and branch portfolios in New York. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver large-scale renovations, new builds, and experiential environments that reflect the brand.

Ideal candidates bring strong interior design skills, retail design experience, and project management capabilities, with proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Military experience.
• At least 2 years of in-house architectural or design experience.
• 2+ years of commercial retail design or architectural experience.
• 2+ years of architectural project management experience.
• 2+ years of experience sourcing architectural materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver special projects for cafes, renovations, ATMs and other strategic initiatives.
• Plan, design, manage and execute project plans with internal and external partners.
• Concept and deliver exterior and interior design using sketches and 3D visuals.
• Develop design tools and elements scalable across projects.
• Drive cross-functional projects with defined scope, timeline and budget.
• Maintain project documentation and manage risks and issues.
