Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced architect to manage design team deliverables, lead BIM coordination meetings, and oversee construction phase services for a major maintenance facility. You will coordinate with GEC members and senior leadership to drive contract deliverables and financial reporting.

The role requires a professional architecture degree, US licensure, and a minimum of 12 years in large-scale facility projects.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (US licensure required).
• Minimum 12 years of experience in industrial, transit, or public infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record leading complex, large-scale facility projects from concept to completion.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, industrial workflows, and maintenance facility requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Design Development: oversee architectural design for the bus maintenance and repair building, ensuring functionality and safety.
• Technical Oversight: ensure compliance with building codes, transportation regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Quality Assurance: review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Construction Support: provide guidance during construction, addressing RFIs and site issues.
