Innovative Home Renovations (IHR) is seeking a Lead Residential Interior Designer to own the design direction and client experience from early conversations through construction completion in Northeast Seattle. The role emphasizes trusted guidance, cohesive design, and collaboration with a cross-functional team including a Drafter and Site Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating residential interior design work (high-end remodeling/design-build preferred).
• 5+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably in residential remodeling or design-build environments.
• Ability to lead projects from concept through completion and drive decisions with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead conversations with homeowners to understand goals, lifestyle, and design priorities.
• Develop cohesive design concepts balancing beauty, function, and buildability.
• Coordinate floor plans, elevations, cabinetry, and finish specifications for Planning and Build.
• Collaborate with drafting/build teams to translate design intent into construction docs.
• Guide clients through design decisions, balancing investment, schedule, and quality.
