You will supervise the safe unpacking, inspection, and consolidation of hazardous waste from universities and laboratories, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

This role requires a science degree or equivalent experience, 1–2 years in depack work, and familiarity with SAP; on-site work

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of lab pack or depack experience.
  • Environmental industry or related experience preferred.
  • Chemical knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Ability to work assigned schedule and on-site.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily depacking and lab pack consolidation operations.
  • Unpack and consolidate hazardous materials efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure proper operation of air pollution monitoring systems.
  • Conduct daily compliance and safety inspections.
  • Coordinate with other departments to support effective waste management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
