Job summary

SEARHC is seeking a Managing General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care while leading daily clinic operations, mentoring staff, and advancing oral health services across Southeast Alaska. Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from a CODA-accredited dental school.
• Certificate from an accredited dental residency program highly preferred.
• Active Dental License in the USA; Alaska license preferred within 2 years if not USPHS.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative and clinical leadership for SEARHC Dental clinics.
• Supervises dentists, hygienists, dental therapists, and other dental staff; directs training and policy compliance.
• Oversees day-to-day clinic operations, front desk workflows, staff scheduling, and patient flow.
• Performs direct patient care, including village/field travel, as needed.
• Administrative supervision is provided by SEARHC leadership and dental services administration.
