Job summary

Friendly Dental Group in South Charlotte is seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant (DAII) to join our private practice. You will lead the clinical team, assist chairside during procedures, take digital x-rays, maintain patient charts, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure infection control standards, within daytime Mon–Fri hours with optional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental assistant.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Qualified to expose dental radiographs in NC; Coronal Polishing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting chairside during dental procedures
• Lead and support clinical team workflow throughout the day
• Take and process digital x-rays
• Maintain accurate patient charting and clinical records
• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring proper room turnover
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
• Monitor and help manage dental supplies and inventory
• Assist with training and supporting team members as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
