Job summary

Benevis in Indiana (Elkhart) seeks a Clinical Team Leader to act as the clinical lead for the office, supporting the manager and doctors with daily operations and patient care.

You will supervise ortho assistants, ensure efficient patient flow, and train new staff while upholding regulations and delivering compassionate service to a diverse patient base in our community-focused practice.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited senior high school or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a dental assistant.
  • Demonstrated supervisory ability.
  • X-ray certification, other certified dental assistant credentials are required (state and position specific).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the office delivers quality and compassionate care to every patient.
  • Assist professional dental staff with treatment regularly.
  • Assist the Ortho Manager in optimizing the efficiency of the office to better serve our patients through building teamwork and scheduling staff accordingly.
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring patient flow is running efficiently and space is available for Same Day Care.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training of new ortho assistants.
  • Uphold the office to the highest integrity by adhering to government regulations and company standards.
  • Guide parents through processes before treatment and provide oral hygiene instruction and postoperative care.
  • Ensure operational readiness of the clinical section of the office.
  • Ensure dental equipment is working properly and be point of contact with suppliers and service technicians.
  • Order dental supplies and manage inventory.
  • Hold staff to high integrity by adhering to all regulations and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned

We are actively seeking a Clinical Team Leader to join our growing team! As the Clinical Team Leader (Lead Dental Assistant) you will be the clinical leader at the office level responsible for providing support to the office manager for the day-to-day functions of the dental office and to the doctors for clinical treatment.   • Responsible for upholding the office to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations and company standards
  • Ensure all parents are guided through our processes before treatment, are educated in oral hygiene instruction, and are provided postoperative instructions.
  • Responsible for the operational readiness of the clinical section of the office
  • Responsible for ensuring dental equipment is working properly and be point of contact with supply representatives and service technicians.
  • Responsible for ordering dental supplies and managing inventor
  • Hold staff to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations, company standards, and company compliance programs.
  • Other duties as assigned
