Job summary

Coborn’s, Inc. is seeking a Deli Department Lead to oversee the Deli in the absence of the Department Manager. You will ensure the Kitchen & Deli meet merchandising standards, stay stocked, and provide exceptional guest service.

Lead the Deli staff, maintain quality and freshness of salads and sliced meats, educate guests, engage with samples, and uphold health and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in deli/food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Deli Department in the absence of the Department Manager.
• Ensure merchandising standards, fully stocked shelves, and appealing presentation.
• Provide exceptional guest service and friendly hospitality at the deli counter.
• Educate and assist guests, engage with product samples, and upsell when appropriate.
• Uphold health, safety and sanitation regulations across the deli operations.

Overview

The primary focus of this position is to oversee the Deli Department in the absence of the Department Manager. The Deli Department Lead will ensure the Kitchen & Deli are successfully meeting company merchandising standards, fully stocked, and appealing to our guests. This individual is responsible for providing continuous delivery of exceptional guest service, providing outstanding leadership to the Deli staff, ensuring superior quality and freshness of all salad and sliced meat products, educating and assisting guests at the kitchen and deli counter, attracting guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere, actively engaging guests through product samples and suggestive selling, and understanding all health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Pay Range

USD $17.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
