Job summary

Coborn's is seeking a Deli Department Lead in Minnesota to oversee the deli in the Department Manager's absence. You will lead the Deli staff, ensure fresh, high-quality salads and sliced meats, and educate guests at the counter while driving engaging product samples and sales.

The role emphasizes maintaining merchandising standards, staying fully stocked, and adhering to health, safety, and sanitation regulations to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide continuous delivery of exceptional guest service and outstanding leadership to the Deli staff.
• Educate and assist guests at the kitchen and deli counter, and engage them with product samples and suggestive selling.
• Ensure superior quality and freshness of all salad and sliced meat products.
• Understand and enforce health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Overview

The primary focus of this position is to oversee the Deli Department in the absence of the Department Manager. The Deli Department Lead will ensure the Kitchen & Deli are successfully meeting company merchandising standards, fully stocked, and appealing to our guests. This individual is responsible for providing continuous delivery of exceptional guest service, providing outstanding leadership to the Deli staff, ensuring superior quality and freshness of all salad and sliced meat products, educating and assisting guests at the kitchen and deli counter, attracting guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere, actively engaging guests through product samples and suggestive selling, and understanding all health, safety and sanitation regulations.
