Job summary

NVIDIA’s autonomous driving team is seeking exceptional engineers to design, implement, and deploy end-to-end autonomous driving systems on NVIDIA chips in mass-production vehicles. We are evolving from AI 1.0 to AI 2.0, leveraging LLMs, VLMs, and VLAs to enable advanced reasoning and interactivity with the driving system.

You will design and train large-scale models, deploy in real-world robotics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready software meeting safety

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building LLMs, VLMs, or VLAs.
• Deep learning architectures and optimization techniques.
• Proven production-grade ML deployment for autonomous/robotics.
• Strong Python and DL frameworks.
• C++ for deployment in safety-critical systems.
• PhD with 4+ years or MS with 6+ years in CS/CE.

Responsibilities

• Design and train large-scale models for planning and reasoning in driving systems.
• Build and fine-tune LLM/VLM/VLA systems for real-world use.
• Create data generation strategies to improve training datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models in production.
• Integrate ML models with vehicle firmware for safety-critical software.
