Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Decision Intelligence Engineer to own production-grade decision intelligence across the NBA platform.

You will model business decisions, design agentic AI workflows, and lead a small team of engineers to deliver measurable improvements in member engagement and operational governance. You will collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams, applying LangGraph, LangChain, and enterprise AI tools to build scalable decision systems with strong governance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
6+ years of software engineering, machine learning engineering, AI engineering, or decision intelligence experience, incl. 1–2 years in tech leadership.
Strong Python engineering experience building and operating production AI systems.
Hands-on experience building agentic applications using LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar orchestration frameworks.
Experience integrating Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Vertex AI, Anthropic, OpenAI, or comparable enterprise AI platforms.

Responsibilities

Analyze and formalize business decision processes and model decisions.
Lead and mentor AI engineers; drive engineering standards and reviews.
Architect and deliver production-grade decision intelligence capabilities across platforms.
