6sense is seeking a Staff Data Scientist, Forward Deployed, to partner with strategic customers and tailor predictive models to their go‑to‑market needs. You will lead engagements with hands‑on coding and direct customer interaction.

You’ll set technical direction across five to ten engagements, translate findings into product improvements, and mentor a team of data scientists while delivering measurable impact in customers’ pipelines.

Qualificações

• 10+ years building and deploying ML models in production.
• Experience working directly with customers on their data: consulting, client-site work, or forward-deployed/solutions role.
• Strong applied ML fundamentals including tree-based models: XGBoost and Random Forest; feature engineering and calibration.
• Experience owning model changes in production end-to-end: backtesting, promotion decisions and rollback.
• Fluent in Python and SQL, comfortable with messy data.
• Able to run two or three engagements at once with no fixed sprint plan.
• Exceptional communication: ability to tell the story to executives and engineers.
• A product mindset: build a capability once for all customers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the technical side of strategic customer engagements from discovery to production.
• Partner with customers’ marketing and revenue operations teams to understand go-to-market, data and goals.
• Tailor models for each customer: ICP definitions, industry definitions, keyword/intent strategy, CRM data feeds.
• Shape engagements with Professional Services and Customer Success: scope, plan, estimate and success measures.
• Lead customer reviews with backtests and data verification that customers can validate.
• Explain the work in the customer’s language to business leaders and practitioners.
• Guide customers through model/configuration changes so teams know what to expect.
• Productize successful patterns into reusable roadmaps and feed Product as input.
