Job summary

Meta seeks experienced Data Scientists to join our Seattle team, collaborating with cross-functional partners to solve complex problems using data and analysis. You will shape product development, quantify opportunities, and ensure products bring value to users and the company.

You will guide teams with data-driven insights, build hypotheses, test them rigorously, and tell compelling data stories to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL, Python, or statistical software (R/SAS/Matlab).
• 8+ years leading analytics work with cross-functional partners and data-informed product planning.
• Experience leading analytics projects across multiple stakeholders (Eng/PM/Finance).
• Experience with predictive modeling, ML, and experimentation/causal inference methods.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and actions.

Responsibilities

• Work with complex data sets to solve problems using analytic approaches.
• Apply quantitative analysis to develop product strategies.
• Identify and measure success with goals, forecasting and metrics.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to inform product strategy and investments.
• Build long-term vision and strategy for programs and products.
• Collaborate with executives to define data platforms and instrumentation.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Define success metrics, forecast changes, and set team goals.
• Support roadmaps and analytics coordination across teams.
