Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years of experience in Data Science or ML, with leadership experience.

• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL with hands-on ML frameworks and big data platforms.

Lead Data Scientist

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite 5 days a week)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy: Guide data science operations, provide strategic direction, and mentor junior team members or peers.
• Model Development: Design and deploy machine learning models, predictive networks, or natural language/AI features.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to align data projects with company goals.
• Data Analysis: Process, clean, and analyze large-scale telecom datasets to solve operational problems.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 5 to 8+ years of relevant experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or advanced analytics, including leadership experience.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
• Frameworks & Tools: Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).
