Job summary

Omnicom Media seeks a Director of Data Science to lead the Data Science team within Marketing Sciences and Technology. This full-time role supports the agency's clients from New York, Chicago or Los Angeles, reporting to the Senior Director, Data Science.

You will build ML models, craft analytic roadmaps, present clear narratives to diverse audiences, and mentor junior staff, combining programming skills (SQL, Python, R) with domain expertise.

Qualifications

• Hands-on programming languages: SQL, Python, R.
• Experience with machine learning techniques and causal models.
• Advanced presentation and communication skills.
• Experience working with non-technical teams.
• Knowledge of digital clean rooms and related concepts.
• Certifications in Meta Blueprint, SQL, Python or R.
• Expert-level domain knowledge of business/industry.

Responsibilities

• External: Partner with Planning & Investment teams to provide Data Science support across the campaign lifecycle.
• External: Build advanced ML models to cluster and segment audiences and deploy them across platforms.
• External: Run analyses to measure campaign performance within analytics platforms.
• External: Develop strategic analytical roadmaps to drive data-driven outcomes.
• External: Manage projects with urgency while maintaining executional excellence.
• External: Leverage coding skills to create process efficiencies.
• Internal: Build decks to explain analytics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Internal: Design and develop the DS practice knowledge repository and mentor juniors.
• Internal: Lead and train direct reports and manage their career progression.
