Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a senior data modeling professional to own and evolve the Personal Wealth canonical data model and related architectures. You will drive architecture for householding, advisor teaming, client relationships, investments, and operational workflows.

You will collaborate with business data stewards, product teams and Enterprise Data Architecture to enforce standards, governance, and reusable concepts across Wealth platforms.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise across conceptual, logical, canonical, semantic and physical data modeling.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise information architecture and metadata management.
  • Experience building business-oriented canonical models independent of applications.
  • Strong knowledge of business rule modeling, cardinality, optionality, integrity constraints and relationship semantics.
  • Expertise with enterprise modeling patterns such as Party, Role, Agreement and Classification.
  • Strong understanding of Supertype/subtype modeling, Temporal modeling, associative entities and master data concepts.
  • Experience supporting analytics, regulatory reporting, data quality and AI-enabled use cases via data modeling.
  • Ability to contribute to governance, stewardship and model lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with data stewards and product teams to define and evolve business concepts and relationships.
  • Own Personal Wealth logical and canonical data model and ensure traceability to implementations.
  • Lead development of canonical models for householding, advisor teaming and client relationships.
  • Support Portfolio of the Future by designing canonical models and abstraction layers that isolate business concepts.
  • Define standards and best practices for conceptual to semantic data modeling.
  • Establish governance processes for model stewardship, versioning, lifecycle, and change control.
  • Collaborate with architecture/engineering to implement tooling for model management, metadata, lineage, and governance.
  • Work with integration teams on ACL patterns and mapping frameworks to vendor platforms.
  • Facilitate workshops to identify and validate enterprise concepts and relationships.
  • Mentor architects, analysts and engineers in modern data modeling practices.
  • Support data models used across wealth management, analytics and AI-enabled experiences.
  • Drive adoption of enterprise modeling standards across product and engineering teams.
  • Promote common business language across Personal Wealth platforms.
  • Ensure canonical models provide stable abstractions between business domains and systems.
