Job summary

Clearwater Analytics seeks a Data Migration Specialist in Boise, ID to optimize data onboarding and automation. You will collect, validate, and transform client data using Excel, SQL, VBA, and Python, improving speed and accuracy of the onboarding process.

You will collaborate with development teams to devise strategies that shorten delivery times, ensure replicable processes, and scale with a growing client base while maintaining rigorous data integrity.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in accounting concepts and practices.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Securities or financial markets knowledge, including derivatives and fixed income.
• Experience with SQL or relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Loads and validates client data into the Clearwater investment account system.
• Applies Clearwater Way methodologies to onboard clients and support CW's Client Engagement Model.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and leads implementation of solutions for continuous service improvement.
• Applies understanding of the accounting equation, amortization, interest income, and related concepts.
• Utilizes data intake, normalization, reconciliation, and reporting workflows; understands related concepts.
• Applies knowledge of vanilla fixed income and equity investments within Clearwater's framework.
• Understands and applies Clearwater's value proposition (aggregate, reconcile, report) in a market- and client-agnostic manner.
• Coordinates complex activities effectively within a dynamic and agile environment.

They employ tools such as Excel, SQL, VBA, and Python to collect and analyze data, resolving issues and discrepancies. This optimization greatly improves the efficiency of onboarding client data at Clearwater. Collaborating closely with our talented development teams, they devise creative strategies that not only simplify the process but also dramatically cut down delivery times.
