Mphasis is seeking a Senior Ab Initio Data Engineer to join the client-site team in New York. The role focuses on Ab Initio ETL development, Teradata, real-time and near real-time data processing architectures, and integration workflows.

You will design, build, test, and support high-performance data pipelines, develop Shell and Python automation scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data solutions and performance.

Qualifications

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ab Initio Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Ab Initio ETL development, Teradata, Continuous Flows, MQ integration, and scripting in Shell and Python. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting high-performance data integration solutions, including real-time and near real-time data processing architectures in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support complex Ab Initio ETL solutions.
• Build and maintain Ab Initio Continuous Flow applications for real-time data processing.
• Develop and support integrations using IBM MQ messaging and event-driven architectures.
• Create and maintain Shell and Python scripts for automation, monitoring, deployment, and operational support.
• Design and optimize data solutions using Teradata.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in Ab Initio development.
• Strong skills in Shell scripting and/or Python development.
• Experience working with Teradata databases.
• Expertise in Ab Initio Continuous Flows and IBM MQ.
• Solid understanding of ETL design, development, testing, and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data integration in enterprise environments.

Qualifications:
