Job summary

Andersen is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to build a scalable, governed enterprise data platform for a financial services client. You will lead data pipelines, ingestion, and analytics initiatives, partnering with architects and analysts to deliver robust, production-ready solutions in Azure.

The role emphasizes greenfield design, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, and strong data modeling knowledge (Data Vault, Kimball). Remote/hybrid options apply, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years commercial data engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Azure data services and greenfield platforms.
• Strong Azure Databricks, Spark and Data Factory skills.
• Experience with Data Vault and Kimball modeling approaches.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps.
• Excellent English communication in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and operations of scalable data pipelines.
• Build the Sunrise data platform with client architects and engineers.
• Implement ingestion from Sapiens, IRIS and other sources.
• Develop end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure data services.
• Establish data quality, governance and security controls.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
