Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Data Engineering Lead to drive our data initiatives and lead a team of 5-6 engineers. The role blends hands-on technical work with leadership, guiding design and implementation of scalable data pipelines.

Required 7-8+ years in data engineering, strong skills in Airflow, Snowflake, SQL, Kafka, and API integration, plus Agile/Scrum experience. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• 7-8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical teams (3+ years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 data engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Apache Airflow (experience with Airflow 3 is preferred).
• Understand Snowflake architecture.
• Integrate and maintain real-time streaming applications using Apache Kafka / Spark Streaming.
• Build and integrate APIs across multiple systems and platforms.
• Drive technical decision-making and establish best practices.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and implementation.
