JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures within the Consumer and Community Banking team. You will drive data governance, optimize performance, and mentor engineers while collaborating with business, analytics and technology stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant data solutions.

The role focuses on AWS Data Lake, Snowflake, and streaming/batch processing, with emphasis on AI-assisted practices to accelerate design

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years of data engineering with AWS, Data Lake, and Snowflake.
• Hands-on with modern data lake/warehousing tech: Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake; Spark/Flink/Trino.
• Apply Agile methodologies and backlog prioritization.
• SQL proficiency and ETL tooling experience.
• Experience validating AI-assisted outputs and data sensitivity.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, maintain and optimize scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Develop and operate workflow orchestration to schedule and monitor data movement.
• Translate business requirements into data lake/warehousing solutions.
• Utilize enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate data pipeline analysis and documentation.
• Promote SDLC quality practices with traceability and security.
• Build and maintain governance for data modeling, cataloging, and access control.
• Provide mentorship and lead technical direction via standards and reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with AWS Data Lake, Snowflake, and related tech.
• Perform quantitative analysis to identify business trends.
• Manage data sharing and ecosystem-specific features.
