Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading engineering teams on complex enterprise software.
• Ownership of an SDK or client library used by external developers, including mobile platforms.
• Strong browser-side JavaScript knowledge: bundle size, async loading, CSP, storage, cookies, tracking prevention.
• Experience with high-throughput server-side collection: edge endpoints, batching, retries, delivery guarantees.
• Practical understanding of consent and privacy requirements, including data minimization.
• Demonstrated bias for action in 0→1 environments, capable of making pragmatic trade-offs.
• Ability to align technical strategy with business growth through collaboration with product/design/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end collection stack including browser tags, mobile SDKs, and server-side endpoints.
• Define the data schema and versioning across multiple SDKs.
• Oversee identity handling across devices and sessions.
• Integrate with related Databricks products and ensure scalable, low-latency collection.
• Maintain budget discipline on page weight and latency to protect host apps.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering to deliver scalable, extensible solutions that drive growth.
