Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. seeks a Principal Network Engineer III in Pocatello, ID. The role focuses on design, deployment, testing, certification, patching, and troubleshooting of data center networking across environments.

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and CI Polygraph ability is required. The candidate will lead advanced networking initiatives, with preference for Cisco ACI, NSO, and related data center technologies.

Qualifications

Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and CI Polygraph ability.
CCNA certification within six months of starting role.
Bachelor's degree; six years of relavant experience considered; degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and provide ongoing support for networking infrastructure within and between data centers.
Serve as an advanced subject matter expert for all data center network environments.
Create and maintain network infrastructure for bare‑metal and virtual machines, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, SDN, firewall, and load balancer configurations.
Provision and configure networking for servers, applications, and cloud services.
Evaluate, improve, and maintain information security across the data center network infrastructure.
Monitor and diagnose network issues; develop recovery processes for failures and bottlenecks.
Provide real‑time alerts and proactive remediation, including redesigns or technology refreshes.
