Job summary

Cornerstone Defense in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Cyber Vulnerability Assessment & Analysis Officer to support sponsor facilities with TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. The role deploys to collocate with sponsor offices and requires performing vulnerability assessments, patch validation, and security controls in Windows and Linux environments.

You will conduct port scans, operate tools like Nmap, Nessus, WebInspect, and Rapid 7 Nexpose, coordinate with ISSO/ISSM, and help ensure laptop compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' experience performing full range of Cyber A&A functions.
• US government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance required at time of application.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance and in small dynamic teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessment against system baselines to evaluate effectiveness of configurations.
• Conduct compliance checks for patches on deployed program systems.
• Coordinate with ISSO/ISSM staff on security incident response and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain and update laptop security program and sponsor system of record.
