Job summary

CACI International Inc seeks a Cyber Security Engineering Lead to design, implement, and sustain secure systems across development and operations. You will work with development and IT teams to apply security best practices, assess vulnerabilities, and ensure RMF/ATO readiness in a dynamic mission environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional engineers to harden systems, manage security controls, and deliver continuous monitoring support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; 8+ years cybersecurity engineering experience or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required to start.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5, 800-37, CNSSI 1253, DISA STIGs/SRGs; familiarization with eMASS/XACTA.
• Experience in RMF through ATO to Continuous Monitoring.
• Experience hardening Windows Server and Linux to STIG requirements.
• Proficient with Nessus, Tenable Security Center, ACAS; security SIEM and endpoint tools.
• Security+ and Linux+ or MCTS; capable of DoD 8140 IAT II.

Responsibilities

• Translate RMF categorization and baselines into implementable security requirements across hardware, software, and networks.
• Develop and maintain security artifacts, boundary diagrams, data flow diagrams, and PPSM registrations.
• Analyze ACAS/Nessus/STIG results and assist in remediating controls.
• Provide A&A support and guidance through RMF processes.
• Support STIG implementation, compliance verification, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure system architectures.
• Explain vulnerability findings to technical teams and communicate risk to stakeholders.
