Job summary

Massman Companies seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily shop floor operations in our custom automated machinery fabrication and assembly departments. Eagan, MN and Madison, WI sites require coordinating complex, low-volume builds from materials to integrated automation systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of supervisory experience in machinery or manufacturing, with NetSuite ERP proficiency and CAD/engineering drawing skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory experience in custom machinery, automation integration, or heavy equipment manufacturing.
• 3+ years as Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineer transitioning into leadership.
• Experience using NetSuite for production tracking and inventory management.
• LEAN SIX SIGMA certification preferred; AWS certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflows for custom, low-volume machinery ensuring fabrication and assembly meet timelines.
• Manage shop floor scheduling, material requests, labor hours, and production tracking in NetSuite.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and optimize floor layouts.
• Supervise and mentor technicians, welders, and assemblers, fostering accountability and performance.
• Audit assemblies against blueprints, P&ID diagrams, and schematics to ensure tolerances before testing.
