Job summary

Verde Clean in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lead Custodian to ensure our facilities stay clean, safe, and welcoming for employees, visitors, and guests. You will lead daily cleaning tasks and model professional conduct.

You will supervise a custodial team, restock supplies, report hazards, and help maintain high cleanliness standards across the site. The role offers a daytime schedule Monday through Friday and pays $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of custodial or janitorial experience.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, and safety procedures.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting floors, surfaces, and restrooms.
• Restock restroom and facility supplies, including paper products, soap, and sanitizing materials.
• Monitor facility conditions and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Support team members and maintain professional interactions with staff, visitors, and clients.
• Assist with maintaining overall cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the facility.
