Wonderful College Prep Academy is hiring a full-time custodial/maintenance staff member to clean and sanitize multiple spaces across the campus, ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met. You will also perform minor maintenance, setup for events, and assist with equipment as needed.

Ideal candidates are detail oriented, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess strong communication and organizational skills to maintain supplies and cooperate with staff.

Responsabilidades

• Facilities and Grounds cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, gym, media center, locker rooms, auditoriums, lobbies, lounges, corridors, elevators, stairways, exterior grounds, storage areas and other workspaces.
• Maintenance: perform minor repairs, move/assemble furniture, service custodial equipment, touch up painting, hang teaching aids; submit maintenance requests.
• Special Events: set up/tear down tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment; assist users with equipment; secure areas for events.

What you'll do:

• Facilities and Grounds: Clean and supervise the cleaning and sanitizing of building including classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, gymnasium, media center, locker rooms, auditoriums, lobbies, lounges, corridors, elevators, stairways, exterior grounds, storage areas and other workspaces.
• Cleaning may include, but is not limited to, removing trash, vacuuming, and mopping, sweeping, dusting, buffing, cleaning carpets, washing windows scrubbing floors and ceilings, pressure washing, and sanitizing restrooms.
• Safety: Meet all local, state and federal sanitation guidelines; conduct emergency cleanup service; responsible for securing campus grounds at all times.
• Maintenance: Perform minor maintenance repairs and building/facility modifications such as repairing, moving or assembling furniture; repairing custodial equipment; touch up or cover up painting; hanging teaching aids, etc. Submit maintenance request for repairs and modification requests.
• Special Events: Assist with staff or outside groups using the building for programs, special events or assemblies. Perform set up and tear down of tables, chairs, and audiovisual equipment; assist with training users on equipment as needed; and troubleshoot equipment problems. May lock/unlock areas for access for building use and events. Move and arrange furniture and equipment in preparing multipurpose rooms or classrooms for special events or meetings.
• Communication: Maintain accurate files and records, and prepare reports as needed; understand and carry out oral and written directions.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay: $21.00/Hour.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Custodial services or relevant experience, preferred
• Detail oriented with a strong focus on safety procedures
• Strong communication skills
• Organization skills to maintain an appropriate inventory of supplies and consumables
• Self-starter and able to perform with minimal or no supervision
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
• Lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, crawl, stand for long periods of time, work with arms extended above body, work outdoors during inclement weather, and see and hear sufficiently to safely perform the duties listed above
