Job summary

The Bellevue Botanical Garden in Bellevue, WA, seeks a full-time Curator to lead living collections, supervise plant records volunteers, and collaborate with partners. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in horticulture or related field, Master’s preferred.
• Four or more years of progressively responsible experience in horticulture or garden management.
• Experience leading, teaching, and motivating others preferred.
• Sustainability-focused horticultural practices are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Manage all living collections and supervise plant records volunteers.
• Foster teamwork among staff and partners and develop intern training.
• Provide horticultural expertise for partners and the public; review publications.
• Budget planning, inventory control, and long-range garden planning.
• Teach classes and assist with education programs for the Garden.
