Job summary

Wellstar seeks a Lead CT Technologist to guide a high-performing imaging team within its not-for-profit, patient-centered health system in Georgia. This role performs and oversees complex CT exams, ensuring exceptional image quality, radiation safety, and compassionate care.

The leader will coordinate workflow, mentor technologists, support accreditation and quality initiatives, and collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to drive improvements and community health outcomes

Qualifications

• Lead and mentor imaging staff to deliver high-quality CT imaging services.
• Ensure radiologic safety and adherence to accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to drive quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CT imaging team and oversee complex CT exams to ensure exceptional image quality and patient care.
• Coordinate workflow, schedule staff, and support ongoing education and training for technologists.
• Support accreditation, quality initiatives, and compliance with radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to optimize imaging protocols and patient outcomes.
