Job summary

Richard Construction Inc. (RCI) currently seeks experienced Crane Operators to operate hydraulic and lattice boom cranes to move heavy equipment at job sites in Beaumont, TX. This role requires reading lift plans, following signals, and ensuring safe lift operations.

Positions include Leadman (5+ years, >90 tons, NCCCO), Operator I (3+ years, >18–90 tons), and Operator II (up to 18 tons). Must pass physicals, hold NCCCO credentials, and have a valid driver’s license with MVR checks.

Qualifications

• Must hold NCCCO credentials for the appropriate type of crane and a current Crane Operator physical.
• Must meet all physical requirements and successfully complete a Rigging Assessment.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle records (MVR) check; must be able to pass a DOT Physical.
• Must have all required tools and be reliable with attendance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate various construction cranes to move equipment and other materials.
• Plan operational lifts.
• Be responsible for all safety aspects of operating the equipment.
• May follow signal directions from a signaler in equipment operations.
• Assess area of operations for safety issues and planning of equipment operations.
