Job summary

Applied Information Sciences (AIS) is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to align infrastructure strategy with business goals, lead large initiatives, and design high availability, DR, and performance patterns. You will guide cross-team programs, perform advanced tuning, and oversee audits and budgets.

Strong consulting, engagement, and communication skills are essential for success. The role emphasizes hands-on delivery, road-maps development, vendor coordination, and driving innovation

• Experience with Certipath TrustVistor or similar product.

Responsibilities

• Provide development and O&M support for a production system during core and non-core hours.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and validation of COTS software in test and production.
• Coordinate integration with cross-functional teams (networking, server/VM, identity and access management, application owners).
• Evaluate system requirements, dependencies, and integration points for compatibility and readiness.
• Support networking, compute, database, and identity aspects including SSO and Entra ID; collaborate on API integrations (Microsoft Graph).
• Prepare documentation for system accreditation, compliance, and security assessments.
• Develop and maintain technical docs (installation guides, baselines, procedures).
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and issue resolution through testing and deployment.
• Communicate project status, risks, and technical considerations to leadership.
