Frontier Senior Living is seeking a Lead Cook for Pine Ridge Alzheimer's Special Care in Spokane Valley, WA. The role requires preparing hot and cold items, soups, sauces, and desserts, while meeting nutritional needs for residents and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in dietary and dining services at long-term care facilities or similar settings.
• Familiar with dietary needs and modifications for seniors.
• Ability to follow health, safety and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dietary Supervisor with breakfast, lunch or dinner prep and service lines.
• Prepare hot and cold items as directed; follow recipes and standards.
• Prepare soups, sauces, salads and desserts per established guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow health and safety practices throughout shifts.
• Communicate with residents and team members to support quality care.
• Monitor leftovers and inventories to control costs and waste.
• Ensure professional demeanor and high level of resident service at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
