Elior School Dining is seeking a Lead Cook to join our team at St. Mary’s Parish School in Hales Corners, WI. This hands-on role supports daily food service operations in a school environment, cooking to established menus and maintaining a safe kitchen.

You will supervise team members, manage food production, and perform light administrative tasks while ensuring high-quality service for students and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cooking or food service experience.
• Ability to cook, serve, clean, and support all areas of daily food service operations.
• Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and portion standards.
• Serve meals to students and staff while providing friendly, professional service.
• Assist with daily setup and breakdown of food service areas.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, serving areas, and dishes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
• Monitor food production, inventory, and portion control to help manage costs and reduce waste.
• Provide direction and support to food service team members as needed.
• Complete light administrative duties, including basic paperwork, production records, inventory documentation, and other daily operational tasks.

$18 - $20 / hour based on experience.
