Job summary

Viacore Solutions, LLC in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a Lead Conveyor Belt Technician to install and repair belts and conveyor systems, with duties split between the workshop and customer sites. This full-time role offers competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory motor vehicle claims history.
• Belting/conveyor experience is a must.
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Respond to assigned customer orders to install conveyor belts or repair as needed.
• Ensure conveyor belts or systems are working effectively per customer orders and instructions.
• Install conveyor belts using rigging gear, winches or cranes as required to fit and assemble system components.
• Certify that jobs are completed within order times.
• Loads, delivers, installs, and specs equipment.
• Completes all required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, forms, inventory, expense reports, purchase card, and equipment related items).
• Identify basic conveyor system components and troubleshoot to perform basic splices, belt cleaning and pulley lagging.
• Serve as a technical contact for training and ongoing technical support for other technicians and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Lead Conveyor Belt Technician

Full Time Rocky Mount, NC, US

Salary Range: $20.00 To $35.00 Hourly

Viacore Solutions, LLC is seeking a Conveyor Belt Splicer for our Rocky Mount, NC location. This position is responsible for the installation and repair of conveyor belts and conveyor systems, including basic mechanical maintenance. This will involve work in the branch workshop and a significant proportion of time out at customer sites. Pay will commensurate with your belt experience. Experienced belt workers will be prioritized!
