Job summary

Intralox L.L.C. in Sparrows Point, MD, seeks a Lead Equipment Assembly Technician to oversee a continuous flow line and assemble work cells, ensuring safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years on conveyor lines, 1+ year of supervisory experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Overtime and weekend work may be required; a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years experience with conveyor line applications or related manufacturing.
• At least 1 year of formal supervisory experience.
• Experience with identifying and implementing meaningful process improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and ability to work overtime/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage a continuous flow line or assembly work cell.
• Develop assembly instructions, ensure assembly quality, monitor schedules and capacity.
• Coordinate activities of Assembly personnel with safety as top priority.
• Troubleshoot and identify process improvements for stable operation.
• Promote continuous improvement efforts.
• Participate in hiring and training of employees.
• Provide performance feedback and planning.
• Support supervisors with input on performance.
• Identify resources and actions to achieve goals and monitor progress.
• Identify and implement process improvements with urgency.
• Safely operate lift equipment.
• Perform housekeeping in warehouse.
• Exhibit teamwork and self-management.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures.
