Job summary

RoviSys Company in Austin, TX is seeking Lead Controls Systems Engineer to design and lead building automation projects. You will guide a project team, run customer meetings, and help with proposals while maintaining client relationships.

The role covers instrumentation and electrical design, drafting system documentation, and on-site startup activities including commissioning and operator training. A technical degree and 3+ years of controls experience are required, with HVAC knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 3+ years of experience in controls or building automation.
• Controls experience with one or more major platforms listed.
• HVAC understanding for large building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for a project team of 2–5 engineers.
• Lead customer meetings and guide design reviews.
• Estimate hardware costs and engineering effort for proposals.
• Develop instrument lists from P&ID drawings and select devices.
• Configure DDC/PLC/DCS control algorithms and HMIs.
• Support field startups and on-site commissioning.
