Job Summary

Design and implement control system projects, lead various design tasks or large-scale projects, provide engineering support, and assume responsibility for project outcomes. Collaborate with project leads, supervisors, and leadership.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with relevant experience.
  • Typically 2+ years of experience.
  • 1-3 years as a Control System Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience with Building Management and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems; data center experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret mechanical, electrical, and control drawings; provide feedback on field conditions.
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation PLCs; knowledge of SCADA systems like AVEVA WonderWare or Ignition is a plus.
  • Understand and guide others in the company's Quality Management System.
  • Design complex BMS and EPMS control systems, using BACnet and Modbus for equipment integration.
  • Develop specifications, perform cost analysis, design network architecture, support start-up and commissioning, and lead factory acceptance tests.
Customer Service & Project Management
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
  • Follow site standards and procedures, support project tasks, and manage scope changes.
  • Estimate task durations, manage risks, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and budget.
Skills & Abilities
  • Monitor progress, adapt to demands, handle challenges, and build relationships.
  • Commit to technical and leadership development.
Additional Requirements
  • Up to 20% overnight travel.
  • Participation in on-call rotation based on location and client needs.
  • Proof of work eligibility, valid driver’s license, and fitness for duty.
