Job summary

Litmus7 Systems Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Technical Consultant to lead viability studies, design low-level system architectures, and implement Java/Spring-based solutions for client projects in San Francisco.

You will ensure non-functional requirements like performance and scalability are met, while estimating effort, developing code, and supporting QA through deployment and production monitoring. The role requires experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST/Microservices, Python, SQL/NoSQL,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in CS or related field.
• 24 months of experience as Technical Consultant or related occupation.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST, Microservices, Python, batch jobs, SQL and NoSQL databases, Oracle Commerce (ATG), HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, cloud architecture (GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD), Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Maven, and GIT.
• Travel and relocation to various unanticipated worksites within the United States is required. International travel is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed viability study and discovery process of any new project/system integrations.
• Create low-level technical design for implementing the technical and business user stories.
• Design systems for meeting functional as well as several non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, response times, and maintainability.
• Estimate effort for any new enhancement and development works related to Java/Spring-based systems.
• Develop the code as per design and run unit and load testing for the same.
• Support QA process including integration testing and fix bugs during testing phases.
• Release the code and feature to production.
• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot issues and behavior in production, fixing issues based on priority.
• Prepare various monitoring mechanisms and scripts using SQL, Kibana, and Python to proactively identify issues in production, ensuring smooth running of all systems.
• Support the SRE team for issue analysis.
• Support retail holiday peak sales with active monitoring of systems and issue triaging.
• Peer code review and code optimization.

Job Duties

• 24 months of employment experience as a Technical Consultant or related occupation.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST, Microservices, Python, batch jobs, SQL and NoSQL databases, Oracle Commerce (ATG), HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, cloud architecture (GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD), Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Maven, and GIT.
• Foreign education equivalent to a bachelor's degree as determined by a qualified credible evaluation service.
• Travel and relocation to various unanticipated worksites within the United States is required. International travel is not required. Exact worksite location and frequency may vary based on project availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related field.
• 24 months of experience as a Technical Consultant or related occupation.

Salary

$187,574 to $188,000 per year. 40 hours per week. 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
