Job summary

ECOM Construction & Development Services, LLC seeks a Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for multi-family projects. You will manage daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and enforce the site safety plan to ensure quality and timely delivery.

You will supervise staff, maintain records, and communicate project progress to management while driving adherence to schedules and safety standards on active job sites in Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-family construction.
• Strong leadership and safety enforcement abilities.
• Ability to interpret plans, specs and contracts.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Manage daily construction-site activities and maintain a clean, organized site.
• Administer and enforce the site safety plan.
• Identify hazards and enforce PPE; assist with investigations.
• Serve as site contact during OSHA visits and communicate with management.
• Verify subcontractor agreements and required documentation before start.
• Conduct subcontractor preconstruction meetings.
• Create and publish the four-week production schedule.
• Coordinate activities to maintain milestones and speed up when possible.
• Develop recovery plans if schedules slip.
• Review plans, specs, bids, contracts, and scopes of work.
• Identify conflicts in drawings and communicate via RFIs.
• Maintain current record drawings and as-builts.
• Coordinate inspections with government, third parties, architect, and owner.
• Correct nonconforming work and document completions.
• Assist with punch-list, closeout, inspection, and delivery.
• Lead weekly safety meetings and site coordination.
• Prepare daily reports, photos, notices, and other project docs.
• Ensure project documents are filed per procedures.
