Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is hiring a Safety Specialist in Dalton, GA to support commercial construction projects and foster a culture of safety. You will oversee OSHA compliance, conduct daily safety meetings, and lead investigations to ensure a safe work environment.

Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30 hour Construction, and First Aid/CPR certification are required. Expect PPE enforcement, safety audits, and equipment inspections to protect workers on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience.

• Experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection and Excavation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily safety meetings.
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
• Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Daily safety audits and inspections.
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment.
