Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Project Manager to lead the overall direction, completion, and financial outcomes of a construction project in the Orange County area. You will oversee contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and scheduling to ensure safety, quality, and profitability.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Construction Management or related field with 10+ years of commercial construction PM experience and 5+ years supervising

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Ten years or more of commercial construction experience in project management.
• Five years or more of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management.
• Experience with project manager software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.).
• Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reports.
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction application(s).

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedule requirements.
• Oversees project financial projections and budgeting.
• Ensures safety standards and Zero Harm culture on projects.
• Promotes customer and community relations.
• Leads and develops project team and subcontractors.
