Job summary

FITS, a service provider in the island and US, seeks a senior Project Management professional for construction field leadership. You will direct field teams, enforce safety programs, and coordinate planning rhythms to keep milestones on track.

Ideal candidate has a decade of construction experience, PMP/OSHA preferred, and strong communication in English and Spanish; role involves on-site leadership and multi-contractor oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience.
• PMP and OSHA 30 membership preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
• Experience leading multi-discipline, multi-contractor field organizations through full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the field construction organization: WPO Leads, Construction Managers, Construction Quality Leads, and Assistant Construction Manager.
• Own field HSE leadership in partnership with the HSE Director; enforce LIFE program and BeyondZero expectations.
• Support CM with the construction look-ahead, daily and weekly planning rhythms, and constraint removal on the owner side.
• Own contractor performance management, productivity tracking, and field issue escalation.
• Partner with the Lead PM and PC27/PC21/Enabling PMs to deliver milestone-by-milestone against the program schedule.
• Champion quality-at-the-source culture; ensure first-time-right execution on critical systems.
• Lead constructability inputs into design and value engineering.
• Build and run the field leadership team's operating cadence (daily plan-of-day, weekly look-ahead, monthly construction reviews).
• Supporting in constructability reviews and site logistics efficiencies.
