Job summary

Kingery Construction Co is seeking a Construction Estimating Manager – Commercial / Industrial to lead cost estimation for bids and negotiated work. You will review plans, prepare complex estimates, and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to assemble competitive proposals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of estimating experience in construction, with strong Excel skills and experience using Ediphi estimating software to deliver accurate, timely bids in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience.
• Preference for a total of 10+ years of construction experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex cost estimates for competitive bids and negotiated proposals.
• Oversees bid day activities.
• Coordinates bid day summaries, general requirements, and procurement presentations.
• Completes review and execution of bid forms and bid bonds.
• Reads and outlines project specifications.
• Performs quantity surveying of materials from plans.
• Maintains audit trail of quantity surveys from estimate to estimate.
• Develops scopes of work for all trades and coordinates pricing with vendors/subcontractors.
• Collaborates with operations to provide constructability and coordination reviews.
• Presents and sells estimates and proposals.
