Qualifications

• Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience.
• Discipline/Major: Engineering degree required.
• Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Specifies precise new product functional requirements; designs, tests and integrates components to produce final designs; evaluates the design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability and safety
• Participates in cross-functional teams to assess technical needs and feasibility
• Designs, develops, executes and evaluates fitness-for-use testing, product specifications and process validation plans
• Collaborates with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers and product specialists to optimize designs for manufacturability
• Lays out and draws schematic or angle views to review functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems and machines
