We currently have a career opportunity for a Lead Compensation Analyst to join our team located in St. Louis.

The Lead Total Rewards Analyst provides analytical support to developing and administering compensation programs that meet Perficient’s objectives and needs, including but not limited to job structure and salary range development, base pay administration, incentive plans, and pay guidance. This position is a collaborative team member in developing, implementing, and maintaining competitive, cost-effective, and equitable company-wide compensation and benefits programs, practices, policies, and procedures. In addition, the analyst will support and respond to inquiries regarding compensation and benefits and interpret and ensure regulatory compliance with all total rewards programs. The analyst will also support the benefits team with data & analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Assists in the analysis, design, and administration of employer compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs
  • Lead the monthly merit and bonus plan process
  • Ensures that requests for pay adjustments comply with company compensation philosophy
  • Performs statistical analysis, data modeling, and costing of compensation programs
  • Prepares data for presentations regarding compensation matters
  • Assists in developing communication and training materials to educate managers and employees
  • Provide guidance and support to HR and management teams on compensation related matters
  • Audits jobs for content and reviews job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties, and requirements
  • Participates in compensation surveys globally to determine competitiveness and appropriateness of job classifications, auditing compensation for individuals and job groups and salary levels to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Conducts market analysis of jobs by reviewing the scope of responsibilities and matching appropriately to comparable survey data.
  • Provides compensation-related research to support, recommend, and implement changes and act as a subject matter expert supporting continuous improvement activities
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of compensation & benefit trends, market data, and benchmarks to inform pay & benefits practices
  • Run weekly, monthly, and quarterly compensation and benefits metrics for management reporting purposes
  • Analyze benefits programs to ensure they meet employee needs and are cost-effective
  • Ensure all compensation & benefits practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business, finance, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of progressive compensation work experience
  • Experience supporting and evaluating compensation models and processes
  • Ability to accurately define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to solve issues
  • Can effectively summarize complex data
Preferred Qualifications
  • Benefits analysis experience
  • Experience developing & analyzing sales incentive plans for effectiveness
  • Certified Compensation Professional (“CCP”) or similar certification
