Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director of Companion Diagnostics within the Translational Medicine team to lead development and implementation of diagnostic strategies for oncology therapies targeting RAS mutations.

The role involves overseeing in vitro diagnostic assay development, managing trial assay implementation at CRO labs, and coordinating with external partners to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance, while serving as a SME on diagnostic regulation.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD with 7-10+ years' industry experience in oncology biomarker or companion diagnostic development.
• Expertise in diagnostic technologies such as NGS, PCR, IHC.
• Strong knowledge of IVD development processes, regulatory landscape, and clinical trial biomarker integration.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• oversee in vitro diagnostic assay development, validation, and regulatory submission support;
• manage clinical trial assay implementation at CRO labs;
• lead cross-functional teams coordinating with external partners to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance;
